There is two ways to get up to the rappelling platform:
One of our guide climb up for a rope helping the tourist that is holding and seating in a chair, to get to the rappelling platform, that is in the top of the tree.
The other one is climbing the tree help it for one of ours guides, holding for ropes from the rappelling platform.

You can join a tour group to drive up to one of the Arenal eruptions. Tour companies have access to several locations.
